I just bought a pot exactly like this at a yard sale today for $2.00! I just loved the vintage design and fell in love with it. I recently saw the movie Julie and Julia and was on my way to purchase the real deal @ Macys after yard sailing. I still bought the 7 qt. pan @ Macys, but just out of curiosity, googled the yard sale item and this site is what I found. What have you found out about it?

  2. not much, put it on ebay to sell and it is already up to 75.00 dollars
I only paid 50 cents yesterday at a trailor park

    hey amy,
I have the tea kettle also, copper/wood handle, chain attached to handle and clipped to lid. I just stumbled on this website and was excited to see these. I had no idea that descoware was collectible or even that there was more of it. I love the designs.

A friend gave me the small casserole. I’ve never seen this design before. When I noticed it said Belgium on the bottom, I just thought I’d look on the internet to see what I could find. I wonder just what it is worth. Anybody who has an idea, I’d appreciate knowing. Thanks!

I found a teapot in Kansas down by the river when searching around an old house my mother grew up in. (She was born in the 1920’s) It’s definitely Markley.. Yellow with lid and chain, wooden handle…food and kitchen utensils painted on it. How old is this teapot approx. what is its worth ?
