Since the product hasn’t been made in 40 years, it’s a pretty rare site to see something on paper about Descoware. Thankfully a couple of people have forwarded some really nifty stuff.

Very special thanks to reader Candy, who compiled half of these all by her lonesome. Thanks!!

I just puchased some Descoware at a Trading Post in ID on a trip recntly. I bought all the pieces they had for $40 (lucky me) that included the square griddle and pan beneath, the bean pot, a medium sized sauce pan frying pan that doubles as a “lid” when placed on top.

Can anyone share some ideas on how to cook with these great pieces? My mother had some orange/red pieces that look similar, but I’m not familiar with this brand. However, I already love it and haven’t used it yet.

    Thanks for the help.

I have the same beanpot-my mother bought it in the late 1950s.

Hi, I found a Descoware 3 qt. bean pot at a yard sale today. I’m so excited! I’m wondering how old it might be — it’s in the flame color and the interior is white, not gray. Has the Descoware Belgium mark on the bottom. 1950s? 60s? Thanks.
